This was an existing building formerly operated as a 45 bed acute care facility. The building has been enlarged by adding three (3) floors to develop a 38,500 sq.ft. residential building. There are 40 apartments, a Community Facility and Laundry Room located in the cellar.
Bicaluro Associates P.C. provided complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire The Community Facility and Laundry Room were designed with separate gas and electric meter.
The selected space cooling and heating systems for each apartment was designed to use Daikin Multi Split Systems with wall mounted interior units. The multi split is designed by Daikin to run quietly and using the advanced inverter technology which reaches the desired temperature faster and maintains it without great fluctuations.
The designed electrical systems include lighting and power distributions, as well as complete smoke detection, communications and TV broadcast systems.
The designed plumbing system includes a dedicated electric hot water heater for each apartment.
